My name is Eunkyung Jeong and I teach at the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Istanbul University. After completing my Master’s program in Korea on the history of Turkish nationalism, I received my Ph.D. on a historical comparison of Korean and Turkish nationalism from the Department of History at Istanbul University. Currently, I am interested in and conducting comparative research on cultural phenomena in Korea and Türkiye.
